Toyota Recall

Recently Toyota announced a recall due to the fact that many Toyota car models were experiencing the sticking of accelerator pedals being jammed in the driver floor mats.

Toyota Motor Corp. was “inaccurate” in saying U.S. investigators concluded that no safety defect exists in the 3.8 million vehicles it’s recalling over floor mats, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said.

Toyota’s recall came after Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood urged the vehicle owners to remove driver’s side floor mats.
